Celebrating the Success of Our Transitional Kindergarten Program

Each year, we are thrilled to see the children who graduate from our Transitional Kindergarten class transition seamlessly into kindergarten, fully prepared with the skills they need to thrive. Our graduates leave WPC Preschool with a strong foundation of skills that set them up for success. This year, the children in the Blue Room class brought these skills to life during an investigation sparked by their curiosity about bugs. They enthusiastically explored books to expand their knowledge, created detailed observational drawings, and shared their discoveries with peers. They took notes and uncovered fascinating insights, such as how some bugs play a vital role in helping the environment. This child-led investigation highlights their ability to take ownership of their learning, utilize resources effectively, and find joy in the process of discovery.

WPC Preschool plays a vital role in preparing children and supporting families in selecting and applying to kindergarten.
